We came with a group of 25. Most of us were clueless to what went on at Horsepower. That was okay though, Tim and Jan filled us in just as quick. They are some of the best people I have ever met. They care about what they are doing. They care about the kids, the horses, and the families.  Horsepower had a profound effect on children I had never seen before. The kids were so eager to ride the horses. These kids rode the horses, but they also learned, and connected. The expressions on their faces were priceless. When a disability holds you back, getting on that horse is like being set free.  I enjoy working with kids. I'm not too big with animals. But the things these horses can do changed my opinion. Riding horses helps these kids more than you could ever imagine.  For me though, its inspiring to see great horses, great people, and a great concept have such a huge impact on these children. It changed my perspective on life. Definately a great place to volunteer! :D
