Founded in the early 1970's as a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence headquartered in New York City and Washington, D.C., the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of the San Fernando Valley, Inc. has been providing community based education and prevention services, including treatment, to individuals and families affected by alcoholism and/or drug dependency.
