Mission Statement

Marysville Youth and Civic Center (Doing Business As: Allyn Scott Youth and Community Center). To provide a gathering place for youth from Yuba and Sutter Counties, where they can, under adult supervision, enjoy wholesome recreation, training leadership skills, education activities, assistance with homework, mentoring and other activities. Focus will always be on the development of good citizenship skills and character. We also provide a site where ASYCC will implement a variety of programs and/or services to serve it clientele, such as physical fitness, aerobics, dance lessons, and special events. Community service and non-profit organizations may hold events for their clientele. Community services and youth agencies may hold business and board meetings. Schools may use the facilities for special functions. Private, for-profit business may hold sales events, meetings, and training sessions. Families may hold celebrations and other gatherings.
