Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide access to care where there are gaps in the area's health care delivery system. We were created to provide basic health care services and referrals for specialty care to area persons who lack health insurance.

Description

For 35 years, the N.E.W. Community Clinic has been providing quality care to the hard-working, low-income and uninsured people of Brown County. The Clinic opened in July of 1971 under the name of the Green Bay Free Clinic as a social work project of a University of Wisconsin Green Bay student. We now have 3 sites: our main site is centrally located, our second site opened in July of 2006 on the west side and our outreach clinic for the homeless is downtown. In 2005 we had over 35,000 visits in the clinic, the homeless shelters, WIC and our school programs combined.
