Mission Statement

The Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation is an organization dedicated to conducting a premier PGA TOUR event in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad, promoting the Piedmont Triad to the world as an attractive place to live and work, and creating over $1 million in charitable impact within the region.

Description

Contested annually on the Donald Ross-designed course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship was founded in 1938 and is the sixth-oldest event on the PGA TOUR excluding the Majors. The 2017 tournament, set for August 14-20, will mark the 78th edition of North Carolina’s oldest professional golf event. The Wyndham Championship could never be held without the invaluable efforts of our volunteers. We are privileged to work with a loyal group of talented and dedicated people who graciously volunteer their time each year. We encourage you to become a part of this generous team as we continue our rich 78-year tradition.
