Mission Statement

The purposes of the organization are: To promote single and multi-use trails in and around the community of Big Lake, Alaska for their historical, recreational, social and economic benefits. To raise funds for the survey, acquisition, development, maintenance of trails and related trail facilities. To preserve, protect and improve public trail access. To promote sustainable trail systems for all users. To provide information to the public on trail safety and trail etiquette. To foster cooperation among diverse groups in the community in support of trails by providing a forum for the community to address trail development and conflicts as they present themselves.
