Mission Statement

The Friends Program strengthens communities by building relationships that empower people, encourage community service, and restore faith in the human spirit. Mentor a Child...Enrich Two Lives

Description

Founded in 1975, the Friends Youth Mentoring Program provides children, ages 6-17, residing in Merrimack County, with a 1:1 mentor who serves as a positive role model and a supportive advocate. Our mentors are the ones who change the lives of these children, who otherwise wouldn't have that positive role model or that person who is their personal champion! We have a high need for volunteer mentors!

this is something I would love to do is mentor a child in this harsh environment of todays difficult world. I have a tender heart - lots of blessings to share and think anyone that would do this would feel most ewarded
