Wanted: teens who enjoy creating social media content and are interested in helping their community! Clothes Less Traveled is a nonprofit thrift shop. Our 26,000 square-foot store in Peachtree City is full of constantly changing merchandise and displays. We support the local community by: Selling high-quality donated items at reasonable prices. Giving the money we make to dozens of charities in Coweta County and Fayette County, GA. Giving scholarships to local high school and college students. Providing vouchers so people in need can get free clothing and household items. Promoting sustainability through re-use and recycling. Join the Clothes Less Traveled family and use your skills for the good of your community in a comfortable, fun, and friendly environment. Clothes Less Traveled is a nonprofit thrift store that supports dozens of charities in Fayette and Coweta Counties. By becoming a volunteer member of our electronics department team, you will help provide your neighbors with technology and small appliances at reasonable prices ... while supporting the local nonprofit community! Tasks could include: Testing battery-operated or mechanical toys Testing and cleaning lighting fixtures such as lamps Testing, cleaning, and making minor repairs to small appliances such as toasters, blenders, space heaters, vacuum cleaners, and paper shredders. Testing, cleaning, and making minor repairs to technology such as laptops, monitors, TVs, speakers, cameras, and DVD players. Sorting cords, cables, and other accessories by type. Organizing electronics items by type. Chatting with customers, helping customers find specific items, and answering questions. Volunteers at Clothes Less Traveled gain the benefit of making new friends in a fun, immersive environment, while finding purpose in helping the broader community. Volunteer hours can be scheduled on a regular consistent basis, or you’re welcome to pop in at your convenience. However you choose to show up, you’ll always feel appreciated, thanks to volunteer perks like discounts, coupons, and regular social gatherings.
