Mission Statement

The mission of the PEER Advocate program is to empower isolated elderly individuals and their families to participate in the decision making process and access resources that will help them to live independently and safely in the community.

Description

PEER Advocates are an important link for older individuals in the community. They provide assistance, support and information to seniors on community programs that will help them remain independent. Duties may include delivering meals to someone who is just home from the hospital or helping someone apply for services. Our volunteer program includes training on topics and issues that affect people 60 and older.
