Nick and Kelly Heart Camp

Description

Nick and Kelly Heart Camp is an organization that provides a free of charge, medically supervised specialized summer camp for children ages 7-17 who are living with heart disease. The camp is located in Prescott, Arizona at the Friendly Pines Camp Grounds for five days. Many of the campers are not eligible for other summer camp experiences due to their heart condition or medical history. The Nick and Kelly Heart Camp, however, supports the medical needs of every camper with a round the clock medical supervision, equipment, and the care of volunteer nurses and physicians. At Nick and Kelly Heart Camp, we offer a full camping experience including; sleeping in a cabin, water activities, horseback riding, high-ropes course, and many more recreational activities associated with a traditional summer camp. We also provide a positive environment that offers a support system shown to strengthen socialization skills and confidence of these children.
