Mission Statement
Our mission is to solve youth unemployment by using art as a vehicle to develop teens and young adults to be work-ready. By providing a range of creative educational opportunities, we believe that we can reach young people in communities where services drop off for youth once they turn 18 years old, guiding them on the path to employment or to become a small business owners. By creating profit-generating entrepreneurial ventures that will introduce art in new and innovative ways, CultureCocoa ArtHouse is able to teach and employ youth, while also enriching lives with relevant, accessible art.
Description
CultureCocoa ArtHouse, Inc. is a 501(c)3 social enterprise that equips teens and young adults aged 15-25 years old who desire to overcome social disadvantage, with education and technical skills in art, design and entrepreneurship through the School of Creative Hustle.
After demonstrating mastery of skills, participants have the chance to be selected to be employed at one of the organization’s partnering profit-making enterprises that utilize art to stimulate marketplaces and open up more channels for the distribution of art by bringing it to people and places that are currently underserved.
