Share Our Strength is the leading national organization working to make sure no kid in America grows up hungry. We weave together a net of community groups, activists and food programs to catch children at risk of hunger and ensure they have nutritious food where they live, learn and play.

Description

Share Our Strength helps close gaps between nutritious food programs and families in need. We help develop lasting solutions for hungry families. Share Our Strength is a national effort that encourages Americans to host bake sales in their communities to help end childhood hunger in America. Bake Sale proceeds are donated to summer and after-school feeding programs throughout the country. Since 2003, over 1.3 million people have participated in Great American Bake Sale, raising nearly $5 million.
