Do you love parties and taking part in family & community celebrations? As a Family Engagement Event Volunteer, you will support the FloCrit team by assisting in event setup/decorating, serving food, assisting in kids activities and post-event clean up. Baby Bucks is FloCrit’s basic needs store that is open twice a week for our students to shop for basic needs items for free during their lunch period. Baby Bucks donations supply our mothers and their children with new and gently used donations of clothing, nursing supplies, diapers, wipes, shoes, books, toys, hygiene products and more. Baby Bucks is volunteer-powered operation, and you can make an impact today in the following roles: Baby Bucks Volunteer Shop Manager Lead Volunteer for Baby Bucks Manages the "Check-Out Counter" and assists the Administrative & Volunteer Assistant in Baby Bucks during open shopping times for students Tuesdays 11am-1pm Thursdays 11am-1pm Weekly commitment of at least 1 shift per week Baby Bucks Volunteer Shop Assistant Assist the Administrative & Volunteer Assistant in Baby Bucks during open shopping times for students Tuesdays 11am-1pm Thursdays 11am-1pm Preferred commitment of 1 shift per week Baby Bucks Sorting Volunteer Sort through our donations in Baby Buck’s sorting room Place and organize donations throughout the store Special projects as assigned Shifts available Monday-Friday 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm Find out more on the volunteer page on our website or contact Rebecca Wilson at rwilson@flocritco.org

Are you interested in child development and want to learn how an Early Childhood Education classroom runs? We need fun, energetic volunteers to lend a hand in our Early Learning Center. Ages are 6 weeks - 5 years old. Come and get to know our wonderful staff, teen mothers and their children! The Early Childhood Education Center (ECE) is open 8:30am - 3pm, Monday through Fridays. Volunteers must complete a volunteer application, a volunteer phone interview, background check and finger printing, an on-site Volunteer Orientation and complete 3 online trainings before volunteering in the Early Childhood Education Center. Florence Crittenton Services of Colorado , is a Denver-based nonprofit that educates, prepares, and empowers teen moms to be productive members of the community. Using a comprehensive and evidenced-based approach, the agency offers a spectrum of wraparound services for the entire teen family, including academics, career guidance and parenting training for pregnant and parenting teen mothers at the Florence Crittenton High School; early childhood education for their infants and toddlers at the Qualistar-rated Early Learning Center; and counseling, education and parenting support for teen mothers and their family members through the Student & Family Support Services. Florence Crittenton Services helps create cycles of success for teen families!
