Description

The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be: to provide accessible meeting space for 12 Step recovery programs, including but not limited to Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous or other such groups that deal with issues of addiction and recovery from such addictions; to provide a meeting place for any type of educational seminars, presentations or other similar events that have a community oriented focus designed to improve social conditions or solve social problems caused by substance abuse or other related factors ; to network with other community oriented nonprofit groups and provide meeting space or other appropriate resources when the Board of directors deems it proper; to provide a safe and secure drug and alcohol free environment where individuals can congregate; to hold fundraising events as determined by the Board of directors; and, to pursue any other activities as determined by the Board of Directors that will fulfill an unmet societal need that improves the community or further advances the objectives of the corporation.
