Description

The U.S. Green Building Council is committed to a sustainable future for the nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. It is probably most known for the LEED green building rating system. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. The USGBC now has 77 local affiliates, and the Arizona Chapter was the third chapter created in the US. Chapter members work to have sustainable communities with very energy and water efficient, and healthy buildings for their occupants.
