Mission Statement

WE ARE a Para-Church organization and are not formed to become a church or to hold regular church meetings. WE BELIEVE that we are called of God to utilize the Love of God, the Power of God and modern communications technologies to organize a world-wide network of prayer warriors that battle the forces of darkness, demanding the release of souls currently held by the devil and his angels. WE BELIEVE that there are other Christians - mature Christians - a few in every church, that have vexed souls because of what they see happening in the world. These Christians are unable to any longer restrain themselves and are ready to literally die to make a difference. WE BELIEVE that from this laity an army will arise that is strong in the power of HIS MIGHT.

BACKGROUND OF ORGANIZATION

StreetPrayers.org was founded in 2011 upon the call of God to create a methodology that would incorporate up to 1,000 churches and ministries to wage spiritual warfare on the street corners in Chicago.

The ministry was founded under the mandate to not start a church, but to assist the local churches in evangelizing the streets in their communities-particularly those churches in high crime areas.

As a result, StreetPrayers.org Inc.-a 50(c)3 Illinois not-for-profit corporation-does not hold regular church meetings and has not collected offerings. Since its inception, the funding that has occurred (approximately $40,000) has been mostly from the personal funds of the founder, Elder Harvey Pinkney.
