Mission Statement

Serenity Saviors' mission is to offer horses salvation from high-risk and life threatening situations, such as neglect, abuse, and slaughter. We offer a chance for them to recapture their brillance by giving them time to heal and recover physically as well as emotionally... They learn to be useful and loved again. We provide each animal with the care, training, and space to recover, for however long they need. While our goal is to find lifelong, loving homes for our horses, those who have suffered too much in their past will remain with the rescue to live out their lives in a caring, comfortable fashion. A rehabilitation and training program is tailored for each horse to help them reach their full potential and to address the emotional and physical scars that cruelty or neglect has left on their lives. We hope to educate the community on responsible equine stewardship, prevent future cruelty, and bring awareness of the need to end the inhumane slaughter of horses.

Description

501c3 rescue organization that saves equines (horses and donkeys) from the slaughter pipeline. We bring them to our rescue, rehabilitate those that can be, and make a decision to adopt them to loving, forever homes or give them permanent sanctuary. Our goal is to grow our network and expand our reach so that we are the preferred choice for therapy and recreation for children and adults who need the healing power of the horses and donkeys at Serenity.
