Mission Statement

Christ Lutheran Community Outreach Corp is a faith-based non-profit committed to serving the ethnically diverse communities of Eastern Delaware County and West Philadelphia. In support of this mission, we provide programs and services that enhance youth and adult education, increase healthcare and promote understanding that embraces diversity and unifies neighborhoods. All UDCOC programs are non-denominational and non-sectarian.

Description

In 2002, Christ Lutheran Church in Upper Darby created the Christ Lutheran Community Outreach Corporation to oversee and raise funds for its community programs. In 2007, the organization changed its name to Upper Darby Community Outreach Corporation to more accurately reflect its commitment to this community and its diversity. The organization provides After-School and Summer Day Camp Programs, Community Health Education through a Parish Nurse Program, and adult education through an associate degree partnership with I-Lead and Harcum College and English as a Second Language for the many members of this community who need this service.
