United Methodist Communities Pitman

My father moved into Pitman Manor "years after he should have"...Those are his words not mine:) The community feeling was wonderful for him. When We initially toured the facility, I felt very peaceful at the prospect of leaving him in their care. I was part of their support group when he was moved into the nursing area of the hospital. It was great to sit with others and learn and not feel alone in my circumstance. I was kept abreast of his health and personal issues. It was minutes from my home and I was able to visit frequently. When i did, I was greeted warmly. Many of his friends from "home" were residents there and they were able to visit together often. Also, his religious needs were met as they met for services and vespers regularly. I cannot say enough good about the Manor. Sincerely, Cindy Downing
