Description

Founded in 1994, MAAN, Michigan Animal Adoption Network, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for animal rescue in the Metro Detroit area. We frequently engage in special promotions and fundraising efforts. The Network is always looking for new and different ways to educate the public, to raise money to continue its rescue efforts, and to find loving homes for homeless pets. The Network has grown tremendously in the last several years, and continues to do so, hoping to one day make it so all rescue groups work together to help animals. We are divided into two areas:

The Animal Care Network (ACN) is a dedicated group of volunteers spending time each weekend in low-income areas in suburban Wayne and Oakland counties providing relief to pets. The Michigan Animal Adoption Network schedules several Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics every year.

The Adopt A Pet Program is a coalition of area rescue groups and foster homes working to place rescued and unwanted animals into new, permanent homes where they will receive the love and attention they so richly deserve.
