to promote good forest management practices, and to educate and inform the public about the benefits of trees to our social, economic, and environmental well-being in both urban and suburban areas.

Description

Each county has its own Forestry Board which works locally towards conservation, education, and preservation of Maryland's trees and forests, and towards the protection and restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.
