Bring your compassion! We need volunteers to help us care for our hospice patients. Some patients need someone to talk to, share memories with, spend a pleasant hour with. Some patients need someone to sit with them while their caregiver takes a couple of hours away. If you can give 3 or 4 hours a month, we will match you up with a patient near your location. You will go through a comprehensive orientation to teach you all you need to know and we will "hold your hand" every step of the way. Come learn how you can help people in their time of greatest need. Please leave your phone number or call Sabra, our Volunteer Coordinator, at Silverado Hospice, 281-397-8800. We follow CDC guidelines and if any patients have a contagious symptom, we do not allow volunteers to visit.

Description
Our agency helps individuals and their families cope with a terminal diagnosis and end of life decisions. We provide RN's, LVN's, CNA's, Social workers, and Chaplain's, as well as volunteer services to help our patients and their families.
