Pack USDA commodity bags for our Food for Children & USDA distribution programs. This volunteer opportunity is held on the 4th Saturday of each month ONLY, dates are subject to change. Space is limited up to 35 volunteers per sort/pack. Online sign-ups only.

Mission Statement

To end hunger through healthy food, education and leadership. We believe in a thriving community where everyone has access to the nutritious food to support their health and well-being.


20,000 sq ft food bank serving Santa Cruz County through 200 agencies and programs. Community, food industry donations and USDA food distributed to low-income families and individuals through indirect and direct services. We serve 55,000 people a month. We partner with 100 local non profits, providing them the food so they do not have to source it themselves.
