Pack USDA commodity bags for our Food for Children & USDA distribution programs. This volunteer opportunity is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month ONLY, dates are subject to change. Space is limited up to 35 volunteers per sort/pack. Online sign-ups only.

Mission Statement

To end hunger through healthy food, education and leadership. We believe in a thriving community where everyone has access to the nutritious food to support their health and well-being.


20,000 sq ft food bank serving Santa Cruz County through 200 agencies and programs. Community, food industry donations and USDA food distributed to low-income families and individuals through indirect and direct services. We serve 55,000 people a month. We partner with 100 local non profits, providing them the food so they do not have to source it themselves.
