Volunteer Position Provide reception and secretarial support assisting the day-to-day operations of the CAC of Bristol County.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with greeting families presenting to the CAC for forensic interviews and Pedi-SANE evaluations.
- Answer phones.
- Monitor waiting room and provide support to families and children while they are at the CAC
- Perform light secretarial duties
Qualifications: Possess the desire and ability to deal compassionately with people.
Have respect for confidentiality concerning individuals and their families.
Possess a mature personality, enabling you to refrain from making judgements.
Experience in Administrative Assistant duties and computer proficiency preferred.

The mission of the Children's Advocacy Center is to assist child victims of abuse and their families.
Description
The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a child focused agency that uses a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach for the intervention and investigation of allegations of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse or witness to violence. The CAC provides a single location for child victims to tell their story, and for the child and their non-offending caregivers to receive support from the MDT and CAC staff.
