We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. Estimated monthly effort: 6-8 hours per month.
- Experience with QuickBooks and MS Office
- Attention to Detail
- Willingness to learn NAMI's business to improve financial tracking and reporting
- Understanding on non-profit accounting helpful
- Local applicants only: must be able to come into the office monthly (although some flexibility to do some of the work remotely)

NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) of San Mateo County is a non-profit, self-help association of families of person with serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, manic-depression, severe depression, anxiety & panic disorder, personality disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. NAMI's goals are to improve the quality of life for persons with mental illness and their families through treatment, residential alternatives, increased research and reduction of stigma.
