Do you enjoy keeping things organized? Curious about what happens behind the scenes at the Library? Do you like to know what is being read in your community?
Become a library materials handler. The Scotts Valley Branch needs volunteers to assist in routing items to other libraries and weeding the stacks. Training and orientation will be provided before your first shift.
We ask that you make a 6 month commitment of at least two hours per week on weekdays. You must be able to bend down to reach books on lower shelves, step up onto foot stools, and lift up to 15 lbs at a time.
