One in six Americans are living with food insecurity. Meanwhile, we waste an average of 96 billion pounds of food every year. We can make a difference.
Join CKUMB, one of over 53 locations nationwide of The Campus Kitchens Project, which empowers student leaders to tackle hunger and waste. Every week, we recover food that would otherwise go to waste, cook healthy, delicious meals, and provide a hearty dinner for underserved children.
We are also developing initiatives for gardening, nutrition education, and SNAP outreach.
