Share Your Holidays Phone Bank volunteers register clients by phone to receive holiday food boxes from the Houston Food Bank. In performing these duties, volunteers help tens of thousands of people access the food they need over the holidays.
Volunteers will work alongside Houston Food Bank Staff to receive incoming phone calls from the community. Volunteers must have basic computer skills to conduct online searches and enter client data. A standard script will be provided and volunteers will be trained on the database software upon arrival.
Volunteer opportunities are available Monday, November 30 through Saturday, December 5 for volunteers ages 16 or older - Spanish speakers are needed!
