Provide support to help Hampshire and Franklin County seniors stay independent at home. Through RSVP, volunteers 55 and older can provide a variety of essential services:

SHINE volunteers help with Medicare related questions and choices on a one-to-one basis in senior centers and hospitals.

Money Management volunteers with financial skills visit seniors at home and assist with bill paying.

Home Energy and Repair volunteers help seniors locate benefits for energy and home repair needs.

Good interpersonal, computer and financial skills are needed. Schedules and locations vary. CORI and driver's license are required. Training and support is provided.

  • Orientation or Training
  • 2 hours per week with a 1 year commitment
  • Interest or experience working with frail or homebound seniors is helpful.
