We send volunteers onto the streets of Fort Collins to build relationships, deliver resource information and distribute supplies to people who are homeless.
Volunteers meet at our warehouse to take the Homeless Gear van around town. This is a direct service, nighttime opportunity.
To get started: Volunteers 1) sign up for a one hour "training" through which we discuss the program more in-depth, potential scenarios, etc. 2) participate in a "ride along" where the volunteer follows an experienced team 3) if everyone is comfortable, the volunteer is then ready to sign up for regular shifts.
Shifts are T, Th and Su from 7pm-10:15(about)pm. Volunteers typically commit to about one shift each month.
