We rely on our Volunteer Advocates to help us respond to calls from people requesting information and referrals on our Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Crisis Hotline. When necessary, they accompany victims to the hospital to provide support through a medical exam. Training and support is provided.

Mission Statement
The mission of Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes, Inc., is to provide direct services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Seneca, Ontario, and Yates Counties and to raise awareness about sexual and domestic violence through community education programs.
Description
Safe Harbors volunteers will provide free, confidential, non-judgmental, empathetic support to all clients, 24 hours a day. Survivors and co-survivors will be provided with accurate information, medical and legal advocacy, counseling and crisis intervention in order to facilitate the healing process.
