Heartland Hospice Volunteers help us provide the extra love and care our patients and their families need. Volunteers offer support, companionship and practical help, through activities such as friendly visitor, clerical help in our office, or bereavement support. Volunteers are fully oriented to the hospice program and philosophy, which is to provide comfort care for those in the final phase of a terminal illness. As a Volunteer, you will love the sense of self-satisfaction you'll receive from enriching someone else's life!

Description
Heartland Hospice is recruiting for volunteers to provide friendly visits and caregiver relief/respite sitting for terminally ill patients and their families. We have many ways for volunteers to engage and change the lives of our patients. If you have the heart for it, we welcome your willingness to serve.
