Consider helping us feed families a hot, nutritious meal. We serve approximately 200 - 300 lunches and dinners on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and approximately 200-250 on Friday nights. Dinners are usually always made from scratch.
We are in search of help with meal preparations. We are especially looking for volunteers who can come for 2 - 4 hours on Mondays between 9:30am and 1:30pm or Fridays between 11am and 3pm.
Those working in the kitchen must be at least 16 years old and wear closed toe shoes.

Description
The River Food Pantry, serving over 1,000 diverse households each week, is South Central Wisconsin’s busiest food pantry.
Our services include free groceries for curbside pickup or delivery, freshly prepared to-go meals, and mobile lunches for children and families in low-income neighborhoods.
More than just a food pantry, we build community by offering opportunities to serve, donate, and collaborate. We also partner with local organizations to minimize food waste and improve access to reliable sources of food.
Since opening in 2006, our vision is to achieve a fully nourished community.
