The SHIP volunteer Counselor objectively assists Medicare beneficiaries who have problems and questions with Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare managed care and long term care insurance. The Counselor conducts individual health insurance counseling sessions that are completely confidential to the client. The SHIP Counselor is willing to contribute about 8 hours per month to counseling SHIP clients. Training included.

Persons age 18 and over are placed within our non-profit agency. Department include: Welcome Desk, SHIP, ACS Wig Bank, In-Hour Library, Exercise Class, and VITA.
