We grow food with community, for community. Come and get your hands in the soil and in your community at our neighborhood farm where we are cultivating sustainably-grown fruits and vegetables for local preschools and our community.

Additional Project Information: Be prepared to work outside. You must wear closed toe shoes! Bring a water bottle and wear weather appropriate attire that can get dirty. Dress in layers. We will supply gloves, tools, sunscreen, and materials, but feel free to bring your own favorite tools or gloves as long as you understand you are responsible for keeping track of them. The farm is located behind Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church at 4510 North River Road, Oceanside. No registration required for individuals or small families. If you plan on bringing more than 5 people, contact us at volunteer@plantspeoplecommunity.org.

Schedule: We have open volunteer hours every Monday from 9:00AM-12:00AM
We also have additional weekend events from 9:00AM-12:00PM.
