Low income tax credits constitute the most powerful anti-poverty program in the nation lifting 10.1 million people out of poverty, including 5.3 million children. These credits can provide over $6,000 in much welcome income for a family in need, yet 25% of eligible Oregonians do not receive it. They need your help.

Each year hardworking Oregonians who cannot afford it spend hundreds of dollars on tax preparation. You can offer a free alternative in your community.

Taxpayers struggle to navigate the ever-increasing complexity of our tax system in a time of declining services from the IRS. This can be especially difficult for the elderly, workers with disabilities, English language learners and those without the skills to access to the internet. You can be their guide.

Imagine putting thousands of dollars directly into the pockets of our community’s most vulnerable. All it takes is to volunteer for the highly regarded AARP Tax-Aide program supported by CASH Oregon. Help those in need receive the tax refunds they deserve!
