Host a stand to represent your business at a school careers fair in Slough. Supporting 14-18yr olds in school seeking to understand the world of work and introduce them to a careers fair environment.
Join a Question & Answer panel to give young people Yr 9 (13-14yr olds) the opportunity to ask you about your job, your company, your career history and more.
Offer to conduct mock interviews for students to give them an insight into the world of talent spotting, meeting strangers, projecting your personal brand and learning to ask questions.
These are a few examples of how you could help us during the two days at the Slough Careers Fair. Give them a person to aspire to be! Give them a view of their GCSE choices and how that can affect their future career.

By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.
Description
We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
