Make an impact on the lives of kindergarten to 12th grade students across the USA by virtually volunteering for JA! Volunteers can engage with students in a variety of ways.
Virtual Options include remote live opportunities where volunteers can "beam-in" to an in-person, face-to- face classroom where students are in a classroom with their teacher but when guests aren't allowed in OR volunteers can beam-in to a remote classroom when the students and teacher are all off-site/at home connecting remotely. As a remote live volunteer, you can choose several options. Volunteers can deliver a full JA program, parts of the program, share information about your career, participate in panel, or explore several other options!
Volunteers also have the option to submit pre-recorded videos of JA program content or career information.
In-Person options are varied and will be available per JA Area and local school and community guidelines.
Our local JA Area staff will work with you to understand your skills, interests, and time availability and match you with the best virtual experience available. JA also provides virtual and self-guided training and access to JA program materials and resources.
Background information:
JA is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. Junior Achievement's programs-in the core content areas of work and career readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy-ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.
JA is the nonprofit leader in providing innovative, hands-on experiences. We rely on volunteers to take career and life-skills mentoring into local classrooms. Volunteer experiences range in day and time commitment - and we offer turn-key opportunities and training for all!
Today, JA reaches more than 4.8 million students per year in more than 105 markets across the United States.
