We pick up food donations from various PV Unified School District school locations and northeast Phoenix business food drives. We need help at the location of the food drive with loading the food donations into a vehicle, driving to the food bank and then unloading, weighing, and sorting the donation at the food bank.
This volunteer job will require the ability to lift boxes of food (e.g. 30-45 pounds). Must use your own properly insured large size vehicle to carry the food donations. Dates and times of the food drives vary. If you are looking for periodic volunteer work and this sounds interesting, please contact Kay Norris at director@pvefb.org.

Description
PVCFB stands for PV Community Food Bank. It is a food pantry formed from existing organizations in the Paradise Valley area to aid the community's hungry.
The PVCFB's main objective is to provide assistance to individuals living within the boundaries of the Paradise Valley Unified School District. PVCFB distributes food to individuals and families that would otherwise go hungry. The food bank provides wholesome, nourishing meals to families in need.
