Junior Achievement Mad River Region

Inspire students and have fun! JA volunteers needed to go into classrooms in Madison County to teach students K-12 prepared lessons in financial literacy. Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with students K-12. All lesson plans are prepared and all materials needed are provided. Typical lessons last 45 minutes, once a week. Teachers remain in classroom with volunteers. Please contact lgranger@jrachieve.net if you would like to make a difference in the life of a child!

Junior Achievement will ensure that every child in America has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system. Junior Achievement educates and inspires young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives.


Programs span grades K-12, with age-appropriate curricula designed to teach elementary students about their roles as individuals, workers, and consumers and to prepare middle grade and high school students for key economic, personal finance, and workforce issues they will face.
