Volunteers are needed to monitor cats and dogs once they have been given their shot prior to surgery and once they have come out of surgery until they are ready to go home. Duties include watching the animals to make sure they are breathing normally, their body temperatures are normal and that their bedding has not been urinated on. Other duties might be cleaning cages once the animals have left for the day and assist with laundry.

The clients we serve know that the animals in our care receive excellent care while they are here and are grateful for the services we provide.

Our normal surgery days are Tuesday or Wednesday from 9 am until 5 pm. Volunteers can give as many hours as they want during that timeframe.
