It's the holiday season and Child CareResource Center is kicking off its Winter 2011 Book & Toy Drive to benefit 2,000 children in the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys.
It is hard to believe but there are close to 90,000 children, just in CCRC’s service area, currently living below the Federal poverty level. And, as a matter of fact, a greater portion of families and children live in poverty in America today than three decades ago. We need your help in making the holidays just a little brighter for some of these deserving children.
- Donate new, unwrapped toys or books for children ages 0-5 at CCRC’s Chatsworth and Palmdale office locations
- Host a toy and book drive at your place of empolyment, church, or social gathering
- Make a cash donation and we’ll do the shopping for you
