The ElderPlace Garden Assistant will assist our Life Enrichment team at specific sites with watering, planting small plants and herbs, weeding and general upkeep that does not include heavy manual labor. The garden assistant will be encouraged to engage with our participants one on one to visit the garden and assist and help participants engage in an horticultural experience. (No lifting more than 15 lbs and duties will be offered based on need).
Qualifications: Dependable, familiarity in gardening, interest in horticultural garden settings, ability to bend, kneel, dig and lift, ability to escort and engage with participants in our different garden settings.

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly). Nationally, PACE programs keep older adults as healthy as possible in the community by providing comprehensive health care and social services including: primary and specialty medical care, a day health program, social work services, rehabilitation, housing (if necessary) and much more.
