Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible. As volunteers we are helping support and enrich the lives of our participants.
Outing Assistant: The ElderPlace Outing Assistant will travel on outings to the Dollar Store, Festival of Trees, Mt Hood Lavender festival and many other events. The Outing assistant will accompany staff and participants and assist staff with boarding and un-boarding of our participants from our wheelchair accessible buses as well as accompany participant/s throughout a store, museum, garden to assure a safe trip. ElderPlace has 8 locations throughout Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.

Description
Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly). Nationally, PACE programs keep older adults as healthy as possible in the community by providing comprehensive health care and social services including: primary and specialty medical care, a day health program, social work services, rehabilitation, housing (if necessary) and much more.
