Post the content to the website. We use Joomla, a content management system that’s very similar to other desktop applications like MS Word, and doesn’t require any special knowledge, although some familiarity with HTML would be helpful for troubleshooting any formatting problem.
Approximately every two months create the HTML file we use to send out our bi-monthly eNewsletter and make sure it is properly formatted for most leading e-mail clients, including Microsoft Outlook. This typically requires making some fairly predictable edits to the HTML tags that are needed so Outlook displays the email correctly.
Depending upon your workload, you may be asked to post other content that doesn’t need a lot of design work. (We’re also looking for another volunteer to focus on posting Website Content for this)
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Needed:
Moderate to strong HTML skills;
Strong website page and site design experience;
Good proofing skills and meticulous about details;
Good at working with others in a virtual environment;

You must be able to commit to a minimum average of 10 hours a month. This is a "virtual" team opportunity which may be performed from home or another location.
Community Empowerment Network's (CEN’s) operations are nearly entirely driven by the efforts of volunteers (the only exception is our Field Manager in Santarm, Brazil, who is paid under contract). We are a small organization and so lines of responsibility sometimes overlap, but this provides a terrific opportunity for volunteers to take on a variety of responsibilities and to expand their skills.
