Enriching the lives of others has an amazing way of enriching our own. Join the team at Heartland Hospice as we strive to enrich the quality of our patients lives and their loved ones in their final weeks/months.
Our volunteers can visit patients, read to them, listen and engage in conversation/life review and provide much needed respite for caregivers.
All volunteers receive 16 hours of training, followed by ongoing guidance and support. When training is complete volunteers are assigned to patients in the area of their choice.
