Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Description

The Salvation Army of Medford Oregon has been providing community resources to the disadvantaged and homeless of Jackson County for 110 years. It provides basic needs of food and clothing as well as housing for individuals and families seeking to provide a better future for themselves through an extensive program designed to reduce/eliminate debt, continuing to live a clean sober lifestyle and help them be able to move into a place of their own by buying or renting.

The Salvation Army offers respect, compassion and assistance to help build a hopeful future for the poverty stricken in Jackson County. "Doing the Most Good" for our community begins with action.
