Volunteers are needed to assist adult learners in attaining educational goals, usually in the areas of reading, writing and math. Tutoring takes place in public places such as schools, libraries and churches throughout the South King County area. Access Literacy is an accredited affiliate of ProLiteracy America. Training will be provided.

Description

The Multi-Service Center is a private nonprofit community action agency that has been providing emergency and support services to individuals and families living in poverty throughout South King County since 1971. Our programs include energy assistance, rental assistance, permanent affordable housing, supportive housing, employment, and youth education and employment. We also operate the Federal Way Food Bank and the Washington State Long-Term Care Ombuds Program.
