Hope for Miami
Hope for Miami reweaves South Florida communities by strengthening families and organizations.

Children ages 5-15. Our children need volunteers to engage with them in usual After School activities such as reading, preparing snacks, outdoor fun activities and more,....High school students (18 or older) or college students needing to earn community service hours are excellent candidates.

We also need volunteers to assist with general Signing-in & Signing out as well as other things such as:

  • Temperature checks
  • Calling students for when their parents come to pick them up
  • Assist with Sanitizing
  • Assist with supervising kids during bathroom breaks

Vision- A Miami in which each of us uses our resources, skills and interests as "threads" to re-weave our neighborhoods into a tapestry of well being for everyone. Mission- Nurtures children and youth through effective programs and strengthens organizations by connecting them to helpful information resources, training and relationships so that our communities thrive. Values- We are committed to children, youth and their families, communities, collaboration & capacity building for faith based and community groups.


After-school services and summer camp programs in 6 Miami -Dade locations. Activities include academic enrichment, field trips, cultural events, sports, dance, art, character education, preventive health screenings and homework assistance.
