Inspire children through science and see their imaginations at work?
Experience world renowned traveling exhibits in a profound manner?
HAVE FUN while learning new things each and every day?
If so, then becoming a "Discovery Assistant" at the Science Center of Iowa is the perfect fit for you!
Here you will interact with guests in our general exhibits as you: help them build model rockets, teach them about the solar system, assist them in creating tornadoes, and so much more.
Qualifications:
-Enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds
-Good communication skills
-Enjoy the world of science and talking about basic science concepts
-Ability to initiate conversations and engage audiences of all sizes
-Punctual and dependable
